Anthony Ostlund Adds Shareholder

  • January 8, 2019

Anthony Ostlund is pleased to announce that Norman Pentelovitch has been elected a Shareholder of the firm, effective January 1, 2019.

Since joining the firm as an associate in the Spring of 2017, Norman has achieved an impressive series of successes, including the total dismissal of three lawsuits seeking more than $120 million against a Fortune 20 company, and the successful resolution of an arbitration on behalf of a client forced out of a partnership. Norman also presently serves as co-counsel with the ACLU-MN in a lawsuit to protect the rights of immigrants against constitutional violations, where he was instrumental in securing a temporary restraining order and injunction.

“We are pleased to welcome Norm to the partnership,” said Joe Anthony, firm CEO and Founding Shareholder. “In his short time at the firm, he’s proven to be a tremendous asset to the team. I look forward to his continued growth in this new role.”

Norman began his career clerking for John R. Tunheim, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota. He went on to spend six years in D.C. at Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison, one of the country’s leading trial firms. In 2016, Norm was invited to become a founding associate of Wilkinson, Walsh + Eskovitz, LLP, a trial boutique, where he played a key role in a series of litigation successes during the firm’s first year.

Norman also has a passion for giving back to the community. He works with indigent clients, survivors of domestic violence and immigrants fleeing persecution. He serves as a member of the Federal Bar Association’s Access to Justice Task Force. He also spent time living in Cambodia, working with a non-governmental organization offering support to the international criminal tribunal prosecuting former Khmer Rouge leaders.
